At Pewee Valley Presbyterian Church, we believe that meaningful relationships help people flourish. That's why we are creating a new kind of gathering space for South Oldham County—a place where neighbors can meet, ideas can be shared, and community can grow.

Often called a "third space," this is a place beyond home and work where people can gather simply because they want to be together. Whether you come to attend an event, meet a friend, work on a project, join a community group, or simply enjoy being around others, you are welcome here.

Our vision is simple: to create a warm, inclusive environment where people can experience connection, conversation, creativity, and belonging.

What You'll Find Here

  • Community events and workshops
  • Meeting space for local groups and organizations
  • Pop-up gatherings featuring local artists, makers, and community partners
  • Opportunities for learning, discussion, and service
  • Comfortable spaces to relax, read, work, or connect with others

In the future, we hope to expand this vision by opening a simple evening coffee shop that will provide another welcoming place for people to gather and build relationships.

Why We're Doing This

Loneliness and isolation affect people of every age. As a church, we believe one of the greatest gifts we can offer our community is a place where people feel seen, valued, and connected.

This project is one way we live out our faith—not by asking people to come to us, but by creating a space where community can happen naturally. We hope to contribute to the social fabric of South Oldham County by offering hospitality, encouraging dialogue, and nurturing relationships across differences.

Everyone Is Welcome

This space is for the curious, the creative, the neighbor looking for connection, and the person simply seeking a comfortable place to be.

You do not need to be a member of our church to participate. Whether you are deeply religious, spiritually curious, or not religious at all, there is a place for you here.

We are building this space for our community because we believe that when people gather, listen, learn, and care for one another, everyone benefits.
